I'm only at the heading stage, but I am already looking forward to seeing the whole thing done.

Prodigal Daughter Returns
So I've been missing in action for a few...cough cough...years. Yeah. It's been a bit of a challenge keeping up with everything: my writing, my quilting, baking, singing, working, and now, weaving. Yes, I am the owner of a used Glimakra Gobelin Tapestry loom named Merida, with whom I am head over heels in love. She is a thing of beauty and I am already having a great time learning to weave on her lovely wooden frame.
She came all the way from Ohio, wrapped up in so much bubble wrap that I could have smothered myself in it.
I am still learning weaving techniques, but I already know that I love doing it.
I'll be posting some works in progress and try to keep a Weaving Diary, as well.
We'll see how that goes...

Fall Quilt 2012
I started this quilt about a two months ago and it moved relatively quickly, I think. Then I hit a huge roadblock called Depression and had to stop for a bit. Since I was feeling a bit better tonight, I decided to finally finish it. Here it is.
That's my mom's head and shoes peeking through.
Here is a closeup of one of the squares.
Now this one was before I added the binding.
And one more of the completed thing with our dog, Vinicius, doing a pretty good job of photobombing.

Fall in the Air
I made this table topper for my sister, who is working at CROW animal center up in Sanibel Island, Florida and has been lacking the time to do fall decorating.
You can find the pattern here. It is very easy to make if you have a charm pack at hand.
The binding is a bit of three fabrics that I had left over.
